  • Brainspotting (BSP) is a powerful, brain-body based therapeutic approach that helps access, process, and resolve deeply held emotional or physical trauma.

By identifying and focusing on specific eye positions—or "brainspots"—linked to unprocessed memories or feelings, Brainspotting works to tap into the brain's natural healing capacity.

This gentle yet effective method can reduce anxiety, improve emotional regulation, and promote overall well-being, making it a valuable tool for those seeking to overcome past challenges and achieve personal growth. description

  • While traditional talk therapy focuses on conscious thoughts and feelings, Brainspotting works deeper, connecting with the brain's subcortical (emotional and non-verbal) areas.

Unlike EMDR, which uses bilateral stimulation, Brainspotting focuses on a specific eye position and allows the body and brain to guide the healing process at its own pace.

It’s less structured than EMDR but just as effective for trauma and emotional healing.

  • A Brainspotting session is typically calm and focused.

We will work together to identify a specific "brainspot" using your eye position.

Once located, you’ll focus on this spot while being gently guided to notice any thoughts, emotions, or sensations that arise.

This allows your brain and body to process what’s coming up naturally.

Many describe the experience as deeply calming and insightful

  • The number of sessions varies from person to person, depending on the nature of what you’re working on.

Some people notice significant shifts in just a few sessions, while others prefer ongoing support.
